Meetings with Members

Claws n Paws have Member Resident Advisory Group (now known as ClawsnPaws Volunteers Supporters Group) meetings every month starting with Tea/Coffee, at the Summerhill Visitor Centre, Hartlepool.

The group consists of registered members and/or Hartlepool residents who have made donations or have helped rescue birds or animals locally. The group is presently chaired by ClawsnPaws Vice Chair Paul Nugent but other committee members are elected every year from among the members. Members have their own Terms of Reference to abide by and provide Claws n Paws with support, help and feedback on a whole host of issues. Members can also join one of the many TEAMS of volunteers who help Claws n Paws on a day-to-day basis. eg: members can join the RESCUE TEAM or the ADMIN TEAM, or the FUND RAISING TEAM. Maybe your forteit is that you could assist the DIY MAINTENANCE & SECURITY TEAM and help maintain and protect the site and its infrastructure. Other teams are also developing as the Group grows. There's always something YOU can do to help.

Claws n Paws Trustee and Management Meetings

These meetings take place at least twice a year for TRUSTEE Meetings and usually once a quarter for Management Meetings. These meetings take place between the TRUSTEES and the MANAGEMENT STAFF of Claws n Paws, who's job it is to run the Project under the Constitutional Rules of the Charitable Organisation. The Management Committee consists of about 8 members. The Officers of Claws n Paws are elected at the Claws n Paws Annual General Meeting to which all fully paid up members can attend and vote if aged Over 18 and on the registered membership list.
